OLDENDORFF – MIT – NAIAS Scrubber Life Cycle Analysis Study

NAIAS LABS is aware of and is involved in the challenges shipping is facing with regards to environmental compliance, providing also effective monitoring solutions.

NAIAS LABS is working together with a team from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Oldendorff Carriers in a scientific study on the *Life Cycle Analysis of Scrubber systems.

Vessel M/V HEDWIG OLDENDORFF of Oldendorff Carriers has been fitted with extensive scrubber monitoring equipment, for all discharges, and is expected to sail in an experimental voyage in late May 2023.

Ballast Water Sampling and Testing Operation

It is with pleasure that NAIAS LABS attaches photographs from the successful, vessel Ballast Water Sampling and Testing Operation, carried out at our Houston /Texas service station in May 2022, with the United States Coast Guard (USCG) shadowing our operation, for demonstration purposes, as prearranged with the USCG.
