NAIAS LABS has developed a unique Bilge Water Separator Effluent Quality Monitoring Program (NABILGE) which conforms to current requirements for such monitoring, provides all necessary consumables, transportation and the certificate of quality of the sample examined.

The basic chemical analysis of a bilge water sample which includes the determination of the contained hydrocarbons (oil in water), the contained suspended matter and the colour of the sample are available through this NAIAS program.

The program provides the users with an appropriate one litre sampling container with a label, one blank form for sample characterization to be filled out by the crew, one special isothermal cooler for shipping the sample to the laboratories for analysis and detailed crew instructions.

The cost for dispatching the consumables to the vessel as well as of the sample back to the laboratories for the analysis, via DHL, are also included in the cost.

The analysis report is sent electronically and , as a hard copy, by mail.
